Class 5 Truck Driver – Day shift available

We have a dayshift Class 5 Truck Driver position vacant to work the rest of our season until end of August 2025.

‍

What you’ll be doing:

‍

As a Day Shift Truck Driver at Mr Apple, you will be driving our picked and packed apples between our sites within Hawke’s Bay. Starting asap you’ll be responsible for delivering fruit bins or packed pallets and other products throughout the Mr Apple’s network of packhouses and coolstores.

‍

Your day-to-day tasks may include:

‍

• Carefully delivering all product within Mr Apple guidelines

• Ensuring logbooks are kept up-to-date and accurate

• Maintaining your truck and notifying the dispatcher of any issues

• Communicating effectively with your team and peers

‍

‍

What you’ll bring:

‍

• Experience as a truck driver, ideally having transported fruit or other fragile product

• You must have a Class 5 drivers licence

• Experience keeping accurate records

• The ability to maintain a high level of Health & Safety awareness

• The right to work in New Zealand and consent to pre-employment checks
