Forklift Supervisor

What you’ll be doing

We are looking for an experienced Forklift Supervisor who can hit the ground running to join our Cool store team in Hastings.  Starting in January, you’ll be responsible for the Forklift team in all aspects of operations from shift rosters, to support and training.

‍Your days to day tasks will include:

• Training, support and guiding the forklift team to maintain Cool store operations
• Health & Safety – Lead by example and promote a safe and fun culture
• Work closely with the Operations Team Leaders & Supervisors to ensure optimum staffing and operations
• Facilitating daily toolbox meetings
• Supporting drivers of all levels to meet operational requirements
• Knowledge of loadout scheduling

What you’ll bring:

• Supervisory experience essential – be a clear communicator and leader
• Strong forklift operator (with cascade experience)
• Knowledge of cool store operations and specifications
• Able to problem solve and work in a fast-paced environment
• Experience working with the Infolink system would be advantageous  
• Flexible and adaptable to the seasonal aspects of the role
