What you’ll be doing 

As the Internal Communications Partner, you will be responsible for managing and creating content for our internal communications channels, including our intranet and social media platforms. You will work closely with our Head of People and Culture to develop and implement a communications strategy that helps our people feel more connected, informed and engaged.

In this role, you will be passionate about our people and finding stories that showcase their talents and contributions. You will be skilled in creating content that aligns with our tone of voice and can adapt your writing to suit different audiences and platforms.

Your key responsibilities will include: 

  • Maintaining internal communications channels – optimising the intranet, social media platforms, newsletters. 
  • Creating inspiring content – find and tell stories aligning with our “tone of voice” to connect and engage. 
  • Managing social media channels – collaborate with peers to manage social media channels and help bring to life our employer brand. 
  • Being a Culture & Values Ambassador – bringing to life stories through words, videos and story sharing. 
  • Helping with People and Culture projects – influencing other P&C projects by transforming content to connect with our people. 

What you’ll bring: 

  • Previous internal communications/intranet experience is required, and social media knowledge is preferred. 
  • You are comfortable designing and delivering communications strategies, creating content and actively managing multiple channels. 
  • A natural communicator, storytelling comes easy to you and you can adapt your written word to suit the audience and the platform. 
  • A people person, you find joy in speaking to people and sharing their stories.
  • You have strong stakeholder engagement skills and are comfortable influencing others to achieve an outcome.
  • Have the right to work in New Zealand and can pass pre-employment checks.
