Truck Driver

What you’ll be doing

We are looking for several Truck Drivers to join our team in Hastings for the 2024 apple season. There are a variety of shifts available, driving our picked and packed apples between our sites within the Hawke’s Bay. Starting in January or February, you’ll be responsible for delivering fruit bins, pallets and other products throughout the Mr Apple’s network of orchards, packhouses, bin stores and coolstores.

Your day-to-day tasks may include:

• Carefully delivering all product within Mr Apple guidelines
• Ensuring logbooks are kept up-to-date and accurate
• Maintaining your truck and notifying the Dispatcher of any issues
• Communicating effectively with your team and peers  

What you’ll bring:

• Willingness to upskill
• Class 5 licence, Class 4 or 5L licences are considered
• Experience keeping accurate records

• The ability to maintain a high level of Health & Safety awareness
• The right to work in New Zealand and consent to pre-employment checks/assessment
