What you’ll be doing

Are you looking for a new role with one of Hawke’s Bay's largest employers? In this role you will lead a small team and will be responsible for maintaining our orchard vehicles and machinery to the highest safety standards. This role will have you based both in the workshop and travelling around our CHB orchards.

Your day-to-day tasks may include:

  • Planning and scheduling of workshop workload within our Central Hawke’s Bay orchards
  • Delivering equipment servicing on time
  • Attending breakdowns of Orchard plant, vehicles and machinery
  • Purchasing and Inventory Management
  • Developing and maintaining strong relationships both internally and externally  
  • Leading the workshop team to deliver on time

What you’ll bring

  • Suitable industry experience of greater than 5 years or a relevant industry qualification
  • Extremely organised and able to come up with solutions quickly
  • Strong communication skills to ensure relationships are developed and managed
  • Have the right to work in New Zealand and can pass a pre-employment drug test
