We are seeking a compassionate and highly organized Wellbeing/Pastoral Care Lead to join our team at Mr Apple. This pivotal role supports the delivery of strategic initiatives and operational activity that promote and embed safety, wellbeing, and cultural competency across all sites and all our people. You will also play a key role in supporting the pastoral care and integration of our RSE teammates.
Key Responsibilities:
- Promote wellbeing through physical, mental, financial, and spiritual health initiatives.
- Offer direct support to Orchard Administrators and Carers for health and injury management.
- Ensure strong health and safety measures and access to medical care.
- Build connections with local medical and community services.
- Champion community integration through events, culture, and volunteering.
- Develop partnerships with local organizations, churches, and iwi.
- Provide clear pathways to access community support services.
What you’ll bring:
- Ability to prioritize competing demands and maintain confidentiality.
- You can communicate and build relationships effectively with people at all levels.
- Awareness and respect for different people from diverse cultural backgrounds.
- You have excellent time management, strong planning and prioritisation skills.
- Flexibility to do your role when needed which may require some after hours or weekend work.
- A current full driver's licence.
- Have the right to work in New Zealand and be able to pass pre-employment screening and checks.
