We have a night-shift leadership role available, working part-time from 4pm–9pm, six days a week. This is a seasonal position starting late January 2026 and running through to approximately the end of August.
What you'll be doing:
This is a hands-on leadership role where you’ll guide your team and keep operations running smoothly. Key responsibilities include:
- Lead and support your team, creating a safe, efficient, and positive work environment.
- Ensure smooth shift operations maintaining flow and consistency.
- Coordinate rosters and staffing to meet daily production needs.
- Monitor attendance and performance, addressing issues promptly and fairly.
- Champion health and safety, reporting incidents and setting the standard for safe practices.
What you’ll bring:
- Strong communication skills with the ability to build trust and motivate a diverse team.
- Calm and adaptable under pressure, able to respond quickly to changing priorities.
- Comfortable leading team briefings and managing performance when required.
- You enjoy working with others and creating a positive team culture.
- Attention to detail and confidence with basic admin tasks, including payroll systems.
- Previous packhouse experience is helpful but not essential—we’ll provide training.
- Eligibility to work in New Zealand and ability to pass pre-employment checks.
