This fixed-term role runs until the end of August 2026, with the potential to become permanent for the right person. Working day shift hours, 6 days a week, you’ll lead a small team responsible for repairing bins that are crucial for protecting fruit and preventing damage.
What you'll be doing:
As a Bin Repairs Supervisor, you’ll work closely with your team to keep repair workflows running smoothly. Your role is a mix of on-the-tools work and leadership, including:
- Inspecting bins and stillages, identifying and disposing of those not meeting standards
- Repairing and quality-checking bins using appropriate timber and materials
- Manage waste disposal and keeping your work area clean
- Ordering materials, audit repairs, and handle team admin like timesheets
- Maintaining strong health and safety practices across the team
What we’re looking for:
- Experience in a practical, hands-on role highly physical role
- Good attention to detail and a commitment to quality
- Awesome work ethic with proven reliability
- A strong focus on health and safety and can lead by example
- Willingness to work six days a week during the season
